Independent living is for seniors who want to enjoy the benefits of an
active lifestyle. Sometimes referred to as retirement communities, your
Garden Village provides the best of both worlds: private living along with
communal services and activities. Independent living attracts people who are
looking to trade the responsibility of home maintenance, in exchange for a
range of social, educational and leisure activities.
At Garden Villages the community facilities are architecturally designed as
private gated campuses. Meal plans and organised activities are optional
extras to assist residents to continue to be accountable for their own well
being. At Garden Villages we know that lifestyle is an attraction for people
of all ages, our independent living communities offer living spaces in a
range of sizes and configurations.
Life at Garden Villages is designed around activities and maintaining
comfortable life styles at very reasonable costs. All Garden Villages offer
the services of a well trained manager on site to assist members to find any
additional services they need.
It's the privacy and freedom of home combined with the convenience and
security of on-call assistance and a maintenance-free environment. Garden
Villages offer active seniors choices about how they want to live and also
maintain lifestyle choices: a full schedule of activities; a selection of
meal plans and menus; and options for personalised service to meet a
resident's particular needs.
Each Garden Village has an active social club with activities ranging from
book groups, baking classes, theatre outings, shopping excursions, happy
hours, wood working and quilting.
The setting of our villages creates a feeling of peace and tranquillity. The
other attraction is the social interaction available with other residents of
like mind, resulting in many cases, in the development of new and valued
friendships. Our Village Managers go out of their way to make residents very
happy both privately and socially.
Many of our residents were once very reluctant to move away from their
family and old friends but now having lived in our villages, they value
their new neighbours, enjoy church and shopping convenience, access to easy
transport services and the list goes on.
We listen to residents' feedback to develop programs that will complement
our seniors' current interests as well as help them discover new ones.
That's why we always maintain our villages to highlight the fact that all
