Defence Services Homes
 
Defence Service Homes recognises the contribution of men and women who have served in the Australian defence forces, either during war or peacetime. Subsidised home loans are available to Australian veterans through the Westpac Banking Corporation.
 
Department of Veterans' Affairs

Repatriation Health and Pharmaceutical Cards
 
The Department of Veterans' Affairs offers a range of repatriation health and pharmaceutical cards to veterans and dependants who are eligible under the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 for treatment at the Department's expense.
 
Returned Services League
 
The Returned Services League (RSL) mission statement is to ensure that programs are in place for the well-being, care, compensation and commemoration of serving and ex-service Defence Force members and their dependants; and promote Government and community awareness of the need for a secure, stable and progressive Australia.  The website includes links to the respective State Branches.
 
Review of Veterans' Entitlements
 
The Federal Government appointed an independent committee to conduct a review of perceived anomalies in the access to veterans’ entitlements and of the benefits and support provided to veteran disability pensioners. The report is available here.
 
Veterans Information Service and Community Support Service
 
A service provided at selected Centrelink Customers Service Centres to help veterans. These services are delivered on behalf of the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
 
Veterans' Review Board
 
The Veterans' Review Board (VRB) is a tribunal created by the Australian Parliament to review decisions of the Repatriation Commission regarding the granting of pensions, allowances and other benefits and the provision of treatment and other services to veterans, their dependants and other eligible persons.
