The Aged Care Complaints Scheme is a free service for people to raise their concerns about the quality of aged care services (including the quality of care, choice of activities, personal care, catering, communication and the physical environment) that are subsidised by the Australian Government.
The scheme covers residential aged care, as well as Home Care Packages.
Anyone can make a complaint about anything that may constitute a breach of the service provider's responsibilities. Complaints can be kept confidential or anonymous.
The Aged Care Complaints Commissioner provides a free service for anyone to raise their concerns about the quality of care or services being delivered to people receiving aged care services subsidised by the Australian Government.
